The EXCHANGE

The EXCHANGE is a unique space sharing collaboration between three small non-profit community groups.  Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition (MTHC), R.A.R.E. Productions, and Trans Youth Support Network (TYSN), make up the collaboration now known The Exchange.

The Exchange came together as a result of these three groups needing space and having very little money for rent. R.A.R.E. Productions raised funds over the summer of 2010 with support of community members and soon began sharing space with Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition.  Shortly after, Trans Youth Support Network joined us.

MTHC

The Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition is committed to improving health care access and the quality of health care received by trans and gender nonconforming people through education, resources, and advocacy. Its program called the Shot Clinic is a syringe exchange and prevention program.

R.A.R.E. Productions

R.A.R.E. Productions is an arts and entertainment media production company. Through engaging LGBTQ Artists of Color and allies, R.A.R.E. Productions seeks to unite communities and families in healing relationships and bridging cultural gaps via the vast mediums of art.

TYSN

Trans Youth Support Network is a partnership of youth and community members working together to support trans youth in Minnesota.

The EXCHANGE is working to bring education, support, Art and services to trans & queer communities in Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
